Happy New Year!

After my last post, i would like to write about something more pleasant.



Yesterday i visited Donald Ervin Knuth in Palo Alto by help of the internet.
Don seamed a little confused during his "Christmas Tree Lecture" saying
that he was a year late with his musing because he had visited Sweden.

I still like Don although the old man can be a bit En-ervin to hear nowadays.
But when i first began to read him and a guy named Floyd in about 35 years
ago they wrote papers together like it was the 200 best Computer Scientists
in America that had come together to tell me and the world of new findings.



Also listended to his 2006 Christmas Musing "Trees, Rivers, and RNA" that i missed.
You can find all the video stuff here. I was curious about what he had found in the
RNA molecules. You can read in PNAS a bit of what i had found by simple computing 1980.
